Power Steering Pump Seal Set — Stop Leaks, Restore Smooth Assist
This OE-grade seal set refreshes a tired power steering pump, fixes fluid leaks, and brings back quiet, light steering. Made from heat‑resistant rubber and precision O‑rings, it keeps hydraulic pressure stable and the system clean.
Why you need it
Old seals harden and crack. You may see red/pink fluid drips, whining noise, foamy reservoir, or heavy steering at parking speeds. Replacing the seals prevents pump wear, protects the steering rack, and saves you from buying a full pump.
How it works ⚙️
The shaft seal, housing gaskets, and line O‑rings lock fluid inside the pump body. With no air leaks, the vane pump builds correct pressure, so the steering gear gets steady assist. Fresh seals also keep dust and moisture out.
What happens if it’s broken ⚠️
Leaks lower fluid level, the pump cavitates and whines, assist fades, and metal wear increases. Extended driving can overheat the pump and damage the rack and hoses.
