Rear Height Sensor Link for Toyota SUVs
Why you need it
This small linkage connects the rear suspension arm to the ride height sensor. It tells the control unit how high the body sits, so the system can keep the vehicle level, protect shocks/air components, and keep headlight aim correct at night . A healthy link means stable handling, smooth comfort, and even tire wear.
How it works
The rod uses two sealed ball joints. As the wheel moves, the link rotates the sensor lever. The sensor sends a voltage signal; the ECU then fine-tunes air/hydraulic pressure or damper settings to maintain the set height. The link’s length and joints are calibrated so the reading stays precise over bumps.
What happens if it’s broken ⚠️
