Front Anti-Roll Bar Support Bushing (No.1) οΈ
This rubber support bushing is a small part with a big job: it holds the front stabilizer (anti-roll) bar firmly to the chassis. You need it to keep the suspension quiet, controlled, and stable when cornering, braking, or driving on uneven roads. A good bushing stops extra movement so the sway bar can do its work without delay.
How It Works βοΈ
The bushing wraps around the stabilizer bar and sits in its bracket. It cushions vibration, reduces metal-to-metal contact, and allows the bar to twist smoothly as the left and right wheels move differently. That controlled twist helps reduce body roll and keeps steering response predictable.
What If Itβs Worn or Broken
When the bushing cracks, hardens, or loosens, the bar shifts and knocks. You may hear clunks over bumps, feel vague steering, and notice more body lean in turns. Ignoring it can cause uneven handling, faster wear of links/brackets, and annoying noise that gets worse with time.
