Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing (Right/Left) for Toyota

Why this suspension bushing is needed

This small rubber bushing is a key support for the front anti-roll (sway) bar. It keeps the bar correctly centered and cushions it against the chassis bracket. When the suspension moves, the bushing prevents harsh metal-to-metal contact and helps the car stay stable in corners.

How it works βš™οΈ

The stabilizer bar twists during turning to reduce body roll. The bushing acts like a low-friction cradle: it lets the bar rotate slightly while holding it firmly in place. Good bushings keep steering response crisp and reduce vibration transfer into the cabin.

What happens if it’s worn or broken ❗

A cracked or loose bushing can cause clunking over bumps, vague steering feel, increased body roll, and uneven handling left-to-right. Over time it may stress the brackets, links, and bar itself, leading to higher repair costs and unsafe cornering.

Best practice

Inspect for splits, flattening, or play. Replace in pairs for balanced handling and longer suspension life.
