Why this part is needed

This bushing secures the front anti‑roll (sway) bar to the chassis. It centers the bar, lets it twist smoothly, and keeps the truck flat in corners. Fresh bushings reduce body roll, sharpen steering response, and cut clunks and squeaks. How it works

A D‑shaped, split sleeve grips the sway bar and sits inside a clamp bracket. The rubber isolates road vibration while allowing controlled twist of the bar. Correct durometer keeps the bar’s rate consistent, so each front wheel resists roll evenly. The inner bore hugs the bar to stop fore‑aft movement and prevents metal‑to‑metal contact.
