RightβHand Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing for Toyota
Why this part is needed β
This bushing holds the front antiβroll (sway) bar on the right side, keeping the bar centered and quiet. It lets the bar twist freely to resist body roll in corners, improving steering response, grip, and braking stability. Replacing a tired bushing restores tight, factory handling and reduces cabin noise.
How it works
The bar passes through the bushing, which is clamped by a bracket to the subframe. The bushingβs inner bore hugs the bar, allowing controlled rotation while filtering vibration. Correct durometer rubber maintains preload so the bar reacts instantly without metalβtoβmetal contact.
If the bushing is worn or broken β οΈ
- Clunks over bumps, squeaks on slow turns
- Loose onβcenter feel, extra body roll
- Uneven tire edge wear, harsher ride
- Faster wear of links/brackets; possible inspection fail
Install notes
- Match bar diameter; clean bracket saddle
- Use siliconeβbased lube only (no petroleum)
- Align slit as OE, torque brackets at ride height
- Replace in pairs for balanced response
