How it works ️
A U-shaped torsion bar links left and right lower control arms through end links and D-bushings. When you corner, one side compresses and the bar twists, resisting lean and transferring load more evenly. Bushings isolate vibration, brackets secure the bar to the subframe.
What happens if it fails ⚠️
Worn bushings or links cause clunks, squeaks, and vague steering. A cracked bar or snapped link raises body roll, increases crosswind drift, and can trigger unwanted ABS/VSC interventions. Expect uneven tire wear and reduced emergency stability.
Installation notes
