Control Arm Rubber Bushing β Restore Comfort and Precision
This suspension bush replaces the tired rubber in the arm mount, bringing back quiet ride, sharp steering, and even tire wear. Itβs essential because it keeps wheel geometry steady under braking and cornering, while filtering road shock and vibration. Ideal OEM-fit solution for aging luxury chassis where clunks and steering play start to appear.
How it works οΈ
The unit is a bonded elastomer between inner and outer steel sleeves. The outer shell presses into the arm or bracket; the bolt passes through the inner sleeve. As the wheel moves, the rubber twists in shear, absorbing noise and harshness, yet holding caster and camber in spec. Correct durometer rubber balances comfort and control.
When worn or broken β οΈ
- Clunking over bumps and vibration at speed
- Wandering steering, longer braking distance
- Uneven tire wear and poor alignment retention
- Metal-on-metal contact, accelerating wear of joints and shocks
- Possible ABS/VSC disturbances on rough roads
Quality & install tips
OE-grade rubber and coated sleeves for long life. Press in with proper support, match orientation marks, and torque fasteners at normal ride height. Finish with a four-wheel alignment for best results.
