Why this bushing is needed
This suspension bushing sits in the front upper arm and acts like a flexible joint between the arm and the chassis. How it works
Inside, a tough rubber (or rubber compound) is bonded to a metal sleeve. When the suspension moves, the rubber twists and cushions impacts while the sleeve keeps the arm centered and controlled.
