Front Upper Spring Seat RH/LH β Smooth, Quiet Suspension οΈ
This front suspension seat supports the top of the coil spring on a MacPherson strut. It centers the spring, damps vibration, and prevents metal-to-metal contact. Built for right or left side, it restores factory ride comfort and steering feel .
Why you need it
It keeps the spring stable under load, cuts noise and harshness, and protects the strut mount and bearing. Using a fresh upper spring insulator stops squeaks, clunks, and spring twist, while preserving correct ride height and tire wear.
How it works
A molded perch with a rubber isolator cradles the coilβs top end. As the wheel moves, the seat spreads spring force evenly and lets the assembly rotate smoothly through the top bearing during steering. This reduces NVH and keeps alignment steady.

Expect knocking over bumps, βtwangβ when turning, vibration in the cabin, wandering steering, uneven tire edges, and accelerated strut mount failure. In severe cases the spring can shift on the perch, affecting control and safety.
