    How It Works

    An eccentric cam bolt and matching washer sit in a slotted control arm bracket. When the bolt turns, the cam shifts the knuckle in or out by a tiny, controlled amount.     What Happens If It Fails

    Rust, impact, or wear can seize or oval the cam. Then toe goes out of spec, causing rapid edge wear, wandering at highway speed, and longer braking distances.
