Front Suspension Spring Stop (Right/Left) ?️
This suspension stop is a small but critical piece that protects your front spring and shock area from hard hits. It is needed to limit how far the suspension can compress when you hit potholes, speed bumps, or carry extra load. By controlling end-of-travel movement, it helps keep ride height stable and reduces harsh metal-to-metal contact.
How It Works ⚙️
Mounted in the front suspension on either side, it acts like a cushion at full compression. When the wheel travels upward too far, the stop absorbs impact energy and spreads the load, reducing stress on the spring, strut, mounts, and control arm points. This improves comfort and keeps alignment closer to spec.
If It’s Worn or Broken ?
A damaged stop can cause loud clunks, bottoming-out, vibration, and quicker wear of struts and top mounts. Over time, it may lead to uneven tire wear, poor handling in corners, and extra strain on suspension joints—especially on rough roads.
