This suspension bumper is a small but critical part that protects your rear suspension when the vehicle hits deep bumps, potholes, or carries heavy load. It is needed to limit excessive rear spring travel and keep the chassis, shocks, and control arms from taking hard metal-to-metal impacts.
How It Works ⚙️
Mounted near the rear spring area, the bumper acts like a “jounce stop.” When the suspension compresses too far, it contacts the axle/suspension arm and absorbs the last portion of movement. Its rubber-like material cushions the hit, reduces vibration, and helps the vehicle stay stable during sudden compression.
