This brake hydraulic valve is needed to keep rear brake pressure correct when the vehicle load changes. When passengers or cargo make the rear heavier, the suspension position shifts and the valve adjusts the brake fluid pressure sent to the rear wheels. This helps maintain stable stopping, reduces rear-wheel lockup, and improves control during emergency braking.
How it works โ๏ธ
The valve reads ride height (via linkage/suspension movement) and โproportionsโ hydraulic pressure. Light load = less rear pressure to prevent skids. Heavy load = more rear pressure to shorten stopping distance and balance braking front-to-rear.
