This rear anti-skid sensor assembly is a key input device for the ABS/ESC system. It is needed to keep the car stable during hard braking, wet roads, or sudden steering, by telling the control unit how fast the rear wheel is rotating.
How It Works ?
The sensor reads a tone ring (or magnetic encoder) on the hub and creates an electrical pulse signal.
