    Why this part is needed ️

    It converts pedal force into hydraulic pressure to push the brake shoes against the drum. A healthy cylinder gives even left/right braking, shorter stopping distance, and low pedal travel. It prevents shoe glazing and keeps wear balanced.

    How it works ⚙️

    Brake fluid enters the bore and moves two opposed pistons. Each piston presses a shoe outward, creating friction with the drum. Internal seals hold pressure; dust boots keep out dirt and water for long service life.
