This unit is the heart of your hydraulic brake system. It converts pedal force into stable fluid pressure for all wheels, giving a firm, predictable stop. Choose it to restore safe braking, proper pedal height, and factory feel after wear, contamination, or internal leaks.
Why you need it β
Over time, bore wear and hardened seals reduce pressure. If you notice a sinking pedal, longer stopping distance, or fluid loss at the booster side, replacement prevents dangerous braking fade and protects ABS components.
How it works βοΈ
Inside are dual pistons with precision seals. When you press the pedal, they push brake fluid from the reservoir into two separate circuits (front/rear), ensuring redundancy. The machined bore delivers linear pressure, keeping pedal travel consistent even under heat.
What happens if itβs broken β οΈ
Spongy pedal, warning lights, uneven braking, and internal bypassing can occur. In severe cases, the pedal may sink at stops, increasing stopping distance and risking loss of control.
Install tips
Bench-bleed before fitment, use fresh DOT 3/4 fluid, torque lines correctly, and bleed all wheels. Keep everything clean to avoid seal damage.
