Front Right ABS Wheel Speed Sensor ?

This front right ABS sensor is a key safety part for stable braking. It reads the wheel rotation speed and sends the signal to the ABS control unit. The system uses this information to prevent wheel lock, improve steering control during hard braking, and support traction and stability functions.

Why This Part Is Needed ?

A correct wheel speed signal helps the brake system react fast on wet roads, gravel, snow, or during emergency stops. Without a clean signal from the front right wheel, the ABS module cannot compare wheel speeds properly, so braking assistance may be reduced.

How It Works βš™οΈ

The sensor is mounted near the wheel hub. As the wheel turns, it detects movement from the magnetic encoder or tone ring. The sensor changes this movement into an electrical signal and sends it to the vehicle computer. This allows the ABS system to adjust brake pressure in milliseconds.

Signs of a Bad Sensor ⚠️

If the sensor fails, the ABS warning light may stay on. The traction control light can also appear, and ABS operation may stop. In some cases, the speed signal becomes unstable, braking feels less secure, or diagnostic tools show a front right wheel speed fault. Replacing the damaged sensor restores proper safety system communication.
