Rear Brake Rotor for Mitsubishi β€” smooth, safe stopping

This OEM-spec rear brake disc restores factory braking feel and shortens stopping distance. Made from high‑carbon cast iron with a corrosion‑resistant hat, it’s precision‑balanced for quiet, vibration‑free performance and even pad wear. Vented design improves heat control on city runs and mountain descents.

Why you need it ️

The rear rotor is the friction partner to your pads. It converts motion into heat and helps the ABS/ESC keep the car stable. A fresh disc means confident, straight stops and longer pad life.

How it works ️

Bolted to the hub, the rotor spins with the wheel. The caliper squeezes pads on both faces, creating controlled drag. Cooling vanes and true machined surfaces keep temperatures and runout in check.

If it’s worn or damaged ⚠️

You’ll feel pedal pulsation, hear squeal, and notice longer braking distance. Heat cracks, blue spots, or below‑min thickness can trigger fade, ABS chatter, uneven pad deposits, and fluid boilβ€”raising stopping risk.

Tech notes

Replace rotors in pairs, torque wheels evenly, clean the hub, and bed new pads. Check runout and thickness with proper gauges for best results.
