Left-Hand Steering Knuckle Arm β Front Axle Control for Toyota
This LH knuckle arm links the tie rod to the hub carrier, locking in precise wheel direction. Engineered in forged steel for OEM-grade strength, it keeps steering geometry stable under load, on pavement or off-road.
Why you need it
Accurate geometry here means safe handling and even tire wear. Replacing a tired or bent arm restores straight tracking, crisp response, and proper camber/caster. Itβs essential after curb hits, hard trails, or lift kit work.
How it works βοΈ
The arm bolts to the knuckle and accepts the tie-rod stud in a tapered seat. As you turn the wheel, force travels through the arm to rotate the knuckle around the ball joints, keeping the hub square while suspension moves.
What happens if itβs damaged β οΈ
Expect steering pull, shimmy, clunks, and fast inner/outer tire wear. Brake pad rub and ABS misreads can appear. If the taper loosens or the arm bends, toe changes and, in extreme cases, steering control can be lost.
Tech notes
Always use new castle nuts/cotter pins, torque to spec, and perform a wheel alignment. Inspect tie rods and ball joints together for a complete fix. Anti-seize on bolts helps future service.
