This steering rack boot seals the rack-and-pinion where the inner tie-rod moves, keeping grease in and road grit, water, and salt out. It shields the steering gear, prevents corrosion, and preserves smooth, precise steering feel. Built from durable elastomer, it resists heat, ozone, and flexing in daily use.

A healthy dust cover protects rack seals and the inner tie-rod joint, cutting wear and avoiding costly rack replacement. It’s essential for both hydraulic and electric power steering systems.

How it works

The flexible bellow compresses and extends as you steer, clamped tight to the rack housing and tie-rod. Its ribs manage movement and pressure while maintaining a clean, lubricated cavity.
