Steering Pitman Arm Assembly for Toyota
This steering link component is the “muscle” between the steering gearbox and the center/drag link. When you turn the wheel, the gearbox shaft rotates and this arm converts that rotation into a strong side-to-side push, guiding the front wheels smoothly. ✅
Why this part is needed

How it works
The arm clamps onto the gearbox output splines and swings in an arc. Its tapered joint connects to the steering linkage, transferring motion without slip. Proper torque and alignment keep the steering geometry stable.
What happens if it’s worn or broken
Expect steering play, wandering, clunking over bumps, uneven tire wear, and poor return-to-center. In severe cases the joint can separate, causing sudden loss of steering control ⚠️—do not drive if you hear heavy knocks or feel excessive free play.
