    This steering pad assembly sits in the center of the steering wheel. It is needed to protect the driver airbag module area, provide a clean horn-contact surface, and keep the wheel interior sealed from dust and moisture. A good pad also prevents annoying rattles and restores the factory look inside the cabin.

    How It Works ⚙️

    The pad locks into the wheel frame and aligns with the horn switch points. When you press the center area, the pad transfers force to the horn contacts, completing the circuit. At the same time, the pad is shaped and mounted to allow correct airbag deployment clearance and direction, so the system can operate as designed during an impact.
