Steering Wheel Pad Assembly — SRS Cover & Horn Unit ?
Engineered for heavy-duty Toyota SUVs, this steering wheel pad restores the factory look and function of your wheel. It protects the SRS module, houses the horn switch, and gives a precise, rattle-free fit. Ideal when the original pad is cracked, faded, or its clips and contacts are worn.
Why you need it ?️
The pad secures and shields the airbag area, aligns the module, and seals the horn circuitry. It keeps wiring protected from heat and dust, ensures a clean deployment path, and maintains a clean, OEM interior appearance.
How it works ?
The assembly bolts to the steering wheel frame and connects via the clock spring. Pressing the center pad flexes integrated contacts to close the horn circuit. The molded SRS door features pre-weakened seams that open in milliseconds during deployment, while high-temperature polymers and dampers absorb vibration for quiet operation.
