Steering Tie Rod – OE-Grade Front Linkage ?️

This steering tie rod connects the rack-and-pinion to the steering knuckle, translating your wheel input into precise front wheel angle. It keeps toe setting stable, ensures straight-line tracking, and protects tires from irregular wear. Built with a hardened ball stud, sealed socket, and corrosion-resistant shaft, it’s designed for smooth, low-friction movement and long life.

Why this part is needed ?

Without a healthy tie rod, alignment drifts, steering gets vague, and braking stability suffers. Replacing a worn unit restores control, quiets clunks, and protects your tires and suspension.

How it works

The inner end threads to the steering rack; the outer ball joint pivots at the knuckle. As the rack moves, the rod pushes or pulls the wheel, holding the set toe angle after alignment.

What happens if it fails ⚠️

Clunking over bumps, play in the wheel, pull to one side, shimmy at speed, and rapid inner/outer tire wear. Severe wear can cause loss of steering control. Always re-align after installation βœ…
