Power Steering Gear Seal Set
This seal set is used inside the power steering gear to keep hydraulic fluid where it belongs and to block dirt and water from entering. When the steering system is under pressure, even a small leak can quickly turn into heavy seepage. Replacing worn seals restores tightness, smooth steering feel, and stable assist pressure ✅
Why this part is needed
Over time, heat, fluid aging, and steering load harden rubber seals. The result is fluid loss, air in the system, and contamination inside the gear. Fresh seals help maintain correct pressure and protect the gear’s internal surfaces from scoring and corrosion.
How it works
Each seal supports a moving shaft or piston surface inside the gear. It holds pressure on the high-pressure side and controls return flow on the low-pressure side. Dust seals act as the first barrier against road grime ️
What happens if it breaks
