Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler Pipe & Line Assembly

This precision metal fluid line is used to route hot automatic transmission fluid (ATF) between the gearbox and the oil cooler. It keeps temperature stable, protects seals, and helps the transmission shift smoothly ⚙️. When space is tight near the radiator and subframe, a correctly shaped pipe prevents rubbing, kinks, and pressure loss.

Why this part is needed

ATF must circulate constantly to carry heat away. This line forms a sealed path so the pump can maintain proper flow and pressure. A correct-fit pipe also reduces vibration stress at the fittings and keeps the cooling circuit efficient ✅.

How it works

Fluid leaves the transmission, travels through the pipe to the cooler, then returns cooled. The rigid tube design resists collapse under suction and handles heat better than generic hose, while the flare/seat ends create a tight seal to stop leaks.

What happens if it’s broken

Cracks, corrosion pinholes, or bent sections can cause ATF leaks, overheating, delayed engagement, harsh shifting, and even transmission failure ?. A damaged line may also spray fluid onto hot parts, creating smoke and a fire risk.
