Left Steering Knuckle (LH) ?️

This left-side steering knuckle is a heavy-duty hub carrier that links the suspension, wheel hub, and steering system into one solid control point. It’s needed to keep the front wheel correctly positioned while allowing smooth steering and stable braking under load.

How It Works ⚙️

The knuckle bolts to the strut/shock and lower ball joint, while the hub/bearing assembly sits in the knuckle to support wheel rotation. The tie-rod end turns the knuckle, pivoting the wheel left or right. It also provides mounting points for the brake caliper, helping maintain correct rotor alignment and pedal feel.

When It’s Worn or Damaged ?

A bent or cracked knuckle can cause pulling, uneven tire wear, steering wobble, and brake vibration. In severe cases it may shift alignment suddenly, stress the wheel bearing, or lead to unsafe handling—especially over bumps or during hard braking.
