Front Steering Knuckle Carrier

Keep your van tracking straight with this precision-machined steering knuckle. It is the rigid hub support that links suspension to steering: the strut or upper arm bolts to it, the lower ball joint locks into it, the tie-rod turns it, and the wheel hub and bearing seat in its bore. A true knuckle preserves factory camber/caster, holds the brake caliper bracket, and positions the ABS sensor exactly where it should be ⚙️.

Why this part is needed

It restores alignment, braking stability, and bearing life. Bent or worn castings throw off geometry, causing vibrations, pad taper, and uneven tire wear. Replacing the knuckle brings back crisp steering feel and smooth rotation .

How it works

When you steer, the tie-rod rotates the knuckle around the ball-joint axis, pivoting the hub and wheel. The knuckle’s fixed geometry keeps the wheel plane true while the arm/strut manage vertical travel. Machined faces keep the caliper square to the disc, and the sensor boss delivers a clean ABS signal.

What happens if it’s broken

Expect pull, shimmy under braking, ABS warnings, noisy bearings, and rapid tire wear. Cracks can progress to loss of control—replace immediately, torque fasteners to spec, and perform a wheel alignment ⚠️.
