This mount cushion is a key rubber-insulated support that holds the rear differential steady on the chassis. It is needed to reduce driveline shock, cut vibration, and keep the drivetrain aligned while accelerating, braking, or changing load. A healthy cushion makes the rear end feel tight and smooth, especially during take-off and gear changes.

The cushion sits between the differential mounting point and the vehicle body. Its rubber core absorbs torque twist from the ring-and-pinion, while the bonded metal sleeves keep the bolt clamping force correct.
