Front Left Stabilizer Link for Mitsubishi SUVs

This front left sway bar link connects the anti-roll bar to the strut/control arm, keeping the body flat and stable in corners. It is essential for safe steering feel, predictable handling, and even tire grip, especially during quick lane changes or when the road is bumpy.

Why you need it

When the link is fresh, the suspension shares load between both sides, cutting body roll and keeping the car planted. It also reduces rattles and helps the ESC/ABS systems work at their best.

How it works

A hardened steel rod with sealed ball joints at each end transmits force from the sway bar to the suspension arm. Low-friction sockets pivot smoothly, resisting twist without binding. Factory-like dimensions ensure correct geometry on the left front corner.

What happens if it fails

Clunking over bumps, loose steering feel, extra body roll, and longer recovery after turns. In severe cases the bar is disconnected, reducing stability and increasing stopping distance on uneven surfaces. Uneven wear can spread to tires and strut mounts.

Technician notes

Replace in pairs for balanced response. Torque fasteners with the vehicle on its wheels. If boots are torn or joints have play, replace immediately.
