Front Strut Mount Insulator for Mitsubishi — Smooth, Quiet Ride
This front suspension strut insulator is the rubber–metal cushion that sits at the top of the strut assembly. Its job is to isolate road shock, center the strut, and keep noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) out of the cabin. Why you need it
Without a healthy top insulator, the strut transmits impact straight into the body. This part protects the strut tower, reduces rattles, and maintains correct alignment angles. It also helps the coil spring rotate smoothly during steering.
How it works ⚙️
A bonded rubber core and steel plate form a flexible mount between the chassis and strut. Under load, the rubber absorbs micro-movements and impact energy, while the metal keeps geometry stable. The design cuts NVH and supports the spring perch.
What happens if it’s broken ⚠️
