Front CV Axle Boot Kit β€” Reliable Seal for Mitsubishi 4x4 Driveline βš™οΈ

This premium front CV axle boot kit protects the constant velocity joint from grit, water, and heat. Built to OEM geometry for Mitsubishi platforms, the flexible bellows, high‑moly grease, and stainless clamps keep the joint lubricated and sealedβ€”on‑road or off‑road.

Why you need it

The CV joint must transmit torque at steep steering and suspension angles. If the seal fails, grease escapes and contaminants enter. A fresh boot preserves the joint, reduces wear, and prevents costly axle replacement.

How it works

The boot’s bellows flex with suspension travel while inner ribs hold grease where the bearings need it most. Correctly torqued clamps lock the boot to the shaft and outer housing, maintaining pressure and a clean grease pack at any angle.

What happens if it breaks

Symptoms: grease spray on the wheel, rubber tears, clicking on turns, shudder under load. Driving with a torn boot leads to dry bearings, pitting, heat buildup, and eventual joint seizureβ€”leaving you with noise, vibration, or loss of drive ⚠️.

Tech tips

Replace at first crack. Clean the joint, pack fresh grease evenly, seat the boot square, and use proper ear/screw clamps (not cable ties). Resist ozone, oil, and mud with quality elastomer. A quick alignment check after service is a smart step βœ….
