Automatic Transmission Oil Strainer – Clean ATF, Smooth Shifts βš™οΈ

This OEM-grade intake screen keeps your automatic gearbox safe by filtering clutch dust and metal fines from the ATF. With clean fluid, the pump holds pressure, solenoids react fast, and shift quality stays crisp. It’s a small part that protects the whole transmission .

How it works

Mounted at the fluid pickup, a fine mesh traps debris before ATF reaches the pump and valve body. A sealed body and O-ring prevent air leaks, so the pump doesn’t cavitate. Consistent flow = stable line pressure = reliable shifts.

Why you need it

Over time, friction material and microscopic chips circulate in the oil. This strainer catches them, reducing wear on the valve body, torque converter, and bearings, and extending service life.

When it fails

Install notes
