Differential Hydraulic Control Unit for AWD Precision βš™οΈ

Why you need it ️

This unit controls hydraulic pressure for the active differential clutches. It gives quick lock-up, strong traction, and stable cornering on wet, snow, or dry roads. If the original pump grows weak, noisy, or corroded, AWD response slows and warning lights appear. A fresh OE-spec replacement restores factory grip and confidence, on street and track.

How it works

An electric pump builds pressure and stores it in an accumulator. The control computer then drives fast solenoid valves to send the right pressure to the clutch packs in the center and/or rear differential. It uses data from wheel speed, steering angle, and yaw sensors to vary lock from open to near locked in milliseconds. Proper ports, wiring connector, and seals match factory layout. The housing resists heat, vibration, and road salt for long service life.

What happens if it’s broken

Common signs are AWD/ACD/AYC lamps, ABS/ASC faults, slow or no pressure build, pump running constantly, or fluid leaks. You may feel wheel spin, understeer, binding in tight turns, or shudder on launch. In some cases the car goes to limp mode with open or stuck diff. Replace the unit, bleed the system, and renew the fluid and filter to restore full performance.
