Transmission Oil Pan for Toyota Luxury Drivetrains ⚙️

This rigid steel sump forms the lower cover of the automatic gearbox. It seals the fluid, supports the pickup/filter, and carries magnets that trap fine metal dust. A flat flange and quality gasket keep ATF inside under heat and pressure, protecting gears, clutches, and solenoids.

Why this part is needed ️

A straight, corrosion‑free pan prevents leaks, keeps the pump consistently submerged, and aids cooling. Replacing a bent, rusted, or stripped pan restores proper sealing and easy maintenance during ATF service. Fresh gasket and correct bolt torque ensure a flat, dry seal; no more oily underside or driveway spots.

How it works

ATF returns to the sump; magnets capture debris; the pump draws clean fluid to the valve body and clutches. Proper pan depth preserves pickup clearance to stop starvation in hard corners. A reinforced drain boss (when equipped) simplifies clean fluid changes and reduces mess.

If the pan is damaged

  • Fluid leaks, slipping shifts, or flare on acceleration
  • Air ingestion causing pump cavitation and whine
  • Contamination bypassing magnets, accelerating wear
  • Warning light, stored transmission codes, limp mode
