Premium Gear Lever Dust Boot for Toyota 4x4 ⚙️
This rugged shifter dust cover seals the opening where the manual gear stick passes through the floor/console. It replaces aged, cracked, or shrunken rubber, keeping the cabin clean, quiet, and cool—ideal for tough touring and everyday driving.
Why you need it ️
Off-road dust, water splash, and exhaust heat attack the tunnel area. A weak seal lets grit and moisture enter, dries shifter grease, and spreads fumes into the cabin. The result is noise, heat, and accelerated wear of the linkage.
How it works
A flexible bellows surrounds the stick and clamps to the tunnel ring. It moves with the lever through all gates while keeping a tight perimeter seal. OE-grade elastomer resists oil, fuel mist, ozone, and high temperature, controlling NVH and blocking road spray.
If it’s damaged
Expect hot air, odor of gear oil, rattles, sticky shifts, wet carpet after puddles, and visible gaps. Long term, you risk corroded floorpan, worn shifter bushings, contaminated gearbox top, and missed shifts.
Install tips
Bolt to the console ring, reuse or replace clamp, clean mating surfaces, add a light silicone smear, align forward, and tighten evenly. Typical time: 20 minutes with hand tools.
