    Transmission Clutch Hub (No.2) for Toyota

    This internal gearbox hub is a key link between the clutch pack and the rotating transmission drums. It is needed to transfer engine torque smoothly, keep the clutch plates aligned, and ensure clean gear engagement under load. In heavy vehicles and 4x4 use, this hub takes constant stress, so correct fit and hard metal quality matter.

    How it works

    The hub’s splines lock into the clutch plates while the center mates with the shaft/drum assembly. When hydraulic pressure applies the clutch, the plates clamp and the hub carries the drive force forward. Its precise machining keeps the pack running true, reducing heat, chatter, and shift shock.

    What happens if it’s worn or broken
