This precision sensor reports the exact selector position to the vehicle’s ECU/TCM, syncing the shift lock, starter enable, and PRNDL display. It keeps gear changes smooth, protects the transmission, and ensures the SUV starts only in Park/Neutral.

How it works
Mounted on the lock sleeve/selector shaft, a Hall-effect element tracks magnet or slot positions. It outputs a clean voltage map the TCM uses to command shift solenoids and the park interlock. Sealed connectors and an O-ring keep signals stable and contamination out.
