Transfer Case Selector Knob for Nissan 4x4

This ergonomic shifter grip is the hand control for your 4WD transfer case. Built for tough use, it gives a solid hold and clear feel when switching ranges. A quality knob keeps your lever steady, reduces vibration, and helps you select 2H, 4H, N, or 4L with confidence on and off the road.

Why you need it ✅

Without a proper knob, range changes become hard and inaccurate. Your hand slips, the lever can sit between detents, and drivetrain parts may grind. A correct, tight-fitting handle protects the lever thread, improves leverage, and keeps shifts precise—especially with gloves, mud, or cold weather.

How it works ⚙️

The knob screws onto the transfer lever’s threaded tip. Its internal metal sleeve locks on straight, setting the right height and grip angle. The textured shell gives traction; the mass damps buzz. As you pull or push, the knob helps you feel the detents so the range fully engages and the case stays in gear under load.

What happens if it’s damaged ❌

Cracks or stripped threads cause looseness, missed detents, or pop-out under torque. You may hear clunks, get binding in 4WD, or struggle to exit low range. A missing or brittle knob can lead to gear clash, premature wear of the shift rail, and unsafe control on climbs.

Install tips

Clean the lever threads, hand-tighten firmly, then add a small quarter-turn. Do not glue. Check alignment with the shift gate and re-torque after the first drive.
