Why you need it ?️
Without a tight cover, the extension housing can’t keep pressure or lubrication. The output bushing runs dry, splines corrode, and driveline shake grows. A new cover restores sealing, stiffness, and correct shaft geometry after impacts, warping, or corrosion.

The cover bolts to the housing and compresses an O-ring or thin RTV gasket to form a fluid-tight joint.
