Gearbox Neutral Position Switch ️
This small sensor keeps your drivetrain and starter system in sync. It tells the ECU and starter relay when the transmission is in true neutral (or park on auto), so the engine only cranks in a safe position. How it Works ⚙️
Mounted on the transmission case, a spring-loaded plunger meets the selector rail. In neutral, the internal contacts close, sending a clean reference signal to the ECU. The sealed metal body, O-ring, and a 2-pin plug protect it from oil and road grime. The ECU then enables the starter interlock and adjusts fueling and timing for stable idle.

Replacement Tips ✅
