This automatic gearbox oil pickup strainer is the first line of defense for your transmission. It sits in the pan, seals to the valve body, and screens the ATF before it reaches the pump and solenoids. By catching clutch dust and metal specks, it keeps hydraulic pressure stable and shifting smooth .
Why you need it
Clean, unrestricted fluid flow prevents overheating, slip, and harsh shifts. A fresh strainer protects the pump, valves, and clutch packs, extending transmission life and keeping fuel economy consistent.
How it works
The pump draws ATF through a fine mesh screen and pickup snorkel. An O-ring and flat gasket prevent air leaks. The filter stops debris while allowing the correct volume of fluid at every RPM βοΈ.
What happens if itβs broken
