This hydraulic cylinder is a key part of the clutch control system. It is needed to turn your pedal push into smooth fluid pressure, so the clutch can release and engage correctly. Without it, the pedal feel becomes wrong and shifting turns hard or unsafe.
How It Works ⚙️
When you press the clutch pedal, an internal piston moves and pressurizes brake-type hydraulic fluid. That pressure travels through the line to the slave cylinder, which moves the release fork and separates the clutch disc from the flywheel. Good seals keep pressure stable, giving a clean bite point and consistent gear changes.
