Clutch Release Fork Sub-Assembly for Toyota Vans

This precision clutch lever delivers the push from the slave cylinder to the release bearing for clean, quiet gear changes. Forged steel and correct geometry give a light pedal, consistent bite point, and long life in tough Toyota Hiace and Regiusace duty cycles.

Why you need it βœ…

Wear on the contact pads or pivot bore creates lost motion, chatter, and hard shifting. Replacing the fork restores full clutch travel, protects the gearbox, and keeps pedal feel stable under load.

How it works βš™οΈ

Mounted on a pivot ball inside the bellhousing, the arm holds the throwout bearing. Press the pedal, the slave pushes the arm, the bearing depresses the pressure plate diaphragm, freeing the disc so you can select gears smoothly.

What happens if it’s broken ❗

Symptoms include clutch drag, grinding into reverse, stiff or squeaky pedal, erratic engagement, or no release at all. A bent or cracked fork can chew diaphragm fingers, destroy the bearing, and leave the van stranded.

Tech tips

Inspect pivot ball, spring clip, and dust boot; lightly grease contact points with high-temp moly; verify slave alignment and pedal free play; bleed hydraulics and torque bellhousing fasteners.
