Engine Room Power Distribution Control Module ⚙️
This unit is the “brain” inside the engine bay fuse/relay box. It is needed to manage and protect key electrical circuits such as starter feed, cooling fan control, fuel pump supply, headlights, wipers, and many other loads. Modern Nissan systems rely on this controller to switch power fast and safely while communicating with other modules.
How it works ?
It monitors input signals (ignition position, sensor requests, CAN messages) and then activates internal relays and solid-state drivers to send power to the correct circuit. When it fails ?
A damaged module can cause random no-start, intermittent stalling, fans stuck on/off, dead headlights, blown fuses, or multiple warning lights. You may also see erratic relay clicking or loss of communication with body/engine systems. Ignoring it can lead to repeated fuse failures and stranded vehicle situations.
