Front Inner CV Joint for Subaru Driveline βοΈ
Why you need it
This joint links the transaxle to the front driveshaft, sending engine torque to the wheels while the suspension moves. It keeps power delivery smooth, reduces vibration, and protects the gearbox splines. A healthy inner joint means quiet takeβoffs and stable cruising.
How it works
Inside is a tripod bearing running in precision grooves. Needle rollers and highβmoly grease cut friction. The joint also telescopes, letting the axle change length as the wheels move, maintaining constant velocity under load and steering. Heatβtreated steel and tight tolerances handle AWD torque.
What if it fails
Common signs: torn boot with grease spray, click or clunk on launch, vibration at 40β80 km/h, and play at the inner axle. Ignoring it leads to bearing scoring, loss of drive, damaged splines, ABS sensor faults, or joint separation. Replace promptly. During install, renew boot clamps and circlip, pack the specified grease, and torque fasteners correctly ?οΈ?.
Fitment notes
Built to OEM spec for spline count, length, and seal interface. Ideal for daily or lifted setups.
