Engineered for Subaru AWD drivetrains, this inboard driveshaft CV joint restores smooth, quiet power delivery from the front differential to the wheel hub. It maintains constant velocity while allowing axial βplungeβ as the suspension moves, cutting vibration and protecting gearbox components.
Why you need it οΈ
Replace when the old joint or boot is worn, grease leaks, or you feel shudder under throttle. A fresh unit brings back tight steering feel, stable acceleration, and reduces NVH. It also prevents knock that can stress differential side gears.
How it works
This DOJβtype inner joint uses a hardened inner race, cage, and six steel balls running in precision tracks. Packed with highβmoly CV grease and sealed by a boot, it transmits torque at angle and slides to absorb engine and suspension movement without binding.
When it fails β
Typical signs: torn boot and grease spray, play at the inner joint, clunk on takeβoff, and vibration between 40β80 km/h under load. Left unchecked, wear can strip splines or separate the joint, causing loss of drive. Always renew grease and clamps during install.
