Mass Air Flow Sensor for Hyundai & Kia πŸš—

This MAF airflow meter reads the exact amount of air entering the intake, so the ECU can inject the right fuel. With a healthy sensor you get smooth idle, strong acceleration, lower fuel use, and clean emissions. It is a direct fit in the air duct, right after the air filter, and restores factory drivability.

Why this part is needed βš™οΈ

Modern engines depend on precise air data. The sensor helps the ECU balance air–fuel ratio, control ignition timing, and keep catalytic converters safe. It prevents over-fueling and keeps power consistent in all weather.

How it works 🧠

Inside is a heated film/wire. Incoming air cools it; electronics add current to maintain temperature. That current is converted into a mass-flow signal the ECU uses to meter fuel and manage trims.

What happens when it fails ❗

Hard starts, rough idle, hesitation, flat spots, poor MPG, black smoke, high emissions, or limp mode. Check Engine Light with codes like P0100–P0103. Often caused by contamination or unmetered air leaks.

Install tips βœ…

Mount with the arrow in airflow direction, seal clamps, fix vacuum leaks, use a clean filter, clear fuel trims after install.
