    Engine Air Filter for Hyundai compact SUV

    This intake element traps dust, sand, and soot before they reach cylinders. Clean air means stable idle, sharp throttle response, lower fuel use, and longer engine life. It also shields the MAF sensor and turbo (where fitted) from abrasive particles.

    How it works ️

    Outside air passes through deep pleated synthetic-cellulose media. The sealing gasket locks into the airbox to prevent bypass. The pleats create huge surface area, capturing fine particles while maintaining flow for proper AFR and smooth acceleration.

    Why replace it

    Clogged media raises intake restriction. The ECU adds fuel to compensate, power drops, and consumption climbs. Replace every 10–15k km or 12 months; halve the interval in dusty use. Always install dry—no oiling needed.

    If it’s damaged or blocked ⚠️

    Expect sluggish pickup, whistling intake, black smoke, rich codes, MAF faults, increased turbo wear, and possible check engine. Severe leaks allow dust scoring on pistons and valves.
